Terms of Service

Be Aligned operates a curated matching service that connects investors with independent financial advisors. We collect information from both sides, run a screening and matching process, and facilitate introductions when both parties independently agree to connect.

Nothing on this site, in any match report, in any advisor profile, or in any communication from Be Aligned is investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. Be Aligned does not manage assets, recommend securities, or advise on any specific financial strategy. Investors should conduct their own diligence and consult a qualified professional before making any financial decision.

We do not guarantee that any investor will receive matches, that any advisor will be accepted into the network, or that any introduction will occur. Matches are made only when:

• The investor's stated criteria overlap with the advisor's profile and accepted client types;
• The advisor is active in the network and available for new matches; and
• Both the investor and the advisor independently opt in to the introduction.

Either party may decline a match for any reason, or for no reason, before contact information is exchanged.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts. Investors may use the matching questionnaire free of charge. Advisors may apply to join the network; membership is invite-only or application-based and subject to review, approval, and payment of membership fees.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials. Be Aligned may suspend or remove access if we believe you have provided false information or violated these terms.

Acceptance into the Be Aligned network and any profile or match ranking is not an endorsement, rating, or guarantee of an advisor's performance, qualifications, or future results. We verify information to the best of our ability, but we do not audit every advisor's practice, and investors must still perform their own due diligence.

The matching questionnaire and investor introductions are free for investors. Advisors pay membership fees as described during application. All fees are described before purchase, are non-refundable unless otherwise stated, and do not constitute payment for financial advice.

You may not use the service to harass, spam, or mislead anyone. You may not scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access non-public data. You may not use the service for any unlawful purpose. Misrepresentation of your identity, assets, or qualifications may result in immediate removal from the network.

All content on this site — including the questionnaire, matching methodology, advisor profiles, and dossier formats — is owned by Be Aligned or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission, except for your own personal use of your match results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Be Aligned and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, any match, any introduction, or any relationship that follows. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Be Aligned in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Be Aligned from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your submitted information, or any relationship or transaction between you and any matched party.

Either party may terminate an advisor's membership at any time, subject to any then-current membership period. Either party may end an investor's access to the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
